Welcome to the avatar creation guide for Sentifyd! In this guide, you'll learn how to create and customize two types of avatars supported by our platform: Ready Player Me avatars and Avaturn realistic avatars.
Supported Avatars
Sentifyd supports two distinct types of avatars:
Ready Player Me: Ideal for creating stylized, cartoonish avatars that are highly customizable in terms of appearance, clothing, and accessories.
Avaturn: Designed for users seeking realistic, lifelike avatars that closely resemble real human features.
Each avatar type offers unique customization options, allowing you to create an avatar that fits your specific needs.
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating and Customizing Your Avatar
Click the Create an Avatar button to begin the process. You can find the button in Platform menu after you have logged in to your account. The avatar creation form will guide you through three simple steps to create and train your avatar.
Basic Information
Before diving into the design process, you'll start by setting up some basic information:
Avatar Name: Assign a name to your avatar.
Language: Choose the language for your avatar. To use multiple languages, select "Multilingual" in the Language field, then pick up to four languages in the Multilingual Locales section.
Voice: The available voice options depend on the selected language, offering natural and region-specific voices. Test the voices by clicking the play icon.
Designing the Avatar
Go to the second tab of the avatar creation form, select the avatar type, and click the Open Avatar Creator button to launch the avatar creator in a dialog window.
1. Ready Player Me Cartoon Avatars
Use the Ready Player Me platform to design a stylized 3D avatar. This versatile tool allows you to personalize your avatar's appearance, including clothing, facial features, and accessories.
Accessing Ready Player Me: No need to create a Ready Player Me account. Sentifyd.io automatically generates a guest account and links your avatars to your Sentifyd.io account for future access.

Select a Base Model: Choose a pre-designed model or upload a photo for a personalized avatar.
Customize Avatar Features: Adjust details like hair color and outfit to suit your style.
Save Your Design: Click 'Next' to save. Your Ready Player Me avatar ID and preview image will automatically update in the avatar creation form.
2. Avaturn Realistic Avatars
For a more lifelike avatar, use Avaturn to create a realistic 3D model. This platform specializes in generating avatars with detailed facial features, skin textures, and realistic proportions.

Note: You need to sign up with Avaturn first to create Avaturn realistic avatars.

Ideal Use
Perfect for crafting avatars that mirror real individuals or brand representatives.
Save and Update
Click 'Next' once completed to save your design.
Your avatar's details will auto-update on the Sentifyd platform.
Assigning Training to the Avatar
After designing your avatar, it's time to train it for effective interaction. Choose one of the following training options:
Create A New Training: Create a new training record for your avatar. This choice will guide you to the Avatar Training form. See Training Avatars.
Assign One Of My Trainings: Reuse training data from previous avatars if applicable.
Assign A Template Training: Utilize pre-existing templates from our library for common scenarios, streamlining the training process.
No Training
Finalizing the Avatar
Once you’ve finished training your avatar, review all settings to ensure everything is configured correctly. When you’re satisfied, submit your avatar. You will be redirected to the avatar page. We recommend testing it in live interactions to ensure it behaves as expected.
