Welcome to the avatar creation guide for Sentifyd! In this guide, you'll learn how to create and customize two types of avatars supported by our platform: Ready Player Me cartoon avatars and Avaturn realistic avatars.
Sentifyd supports two distinct types of avatars:
: Ideal for creating stylized, cartoonish avatars that are highly customizable in terms of appearance, clothing, and accessories.
Each avatar type offers unique customization options, allowing you to create an avatar that fits your specific needs.
Click the Create an Avatar button to begin the process. You can find the button in Platform menu after you have logged in to your account. The avatar creation form will guide you through three simple steps to create and train your avatar.
Before diving into the design process, you'll start by setting up some basic information:
Avatar Name: Assign a name to your avatar.
Language and Voice: Select the language your avatar will use. Voice options are dependent on the chosen language, providing natural and regionally appropriate voices.
In the second tab of the avatar creation form choose the avatar type and then click on Open Avatar Creator button to start the avatar creator in a dialog window.
Use the Ready Player Me platform to design a stylized 3D avatar. This versatile tool allows you to personalize your avatar's appearance, including clothing, facial features, and accessories.
Accessing Ready Player Me: You don't need to create an account with Ready Player Me. Sentifyd.io platform creates a guest account for you and ensures that your created avatars are accessible to you in the future using your sentifyd.io account only.
Customization: Begin by selecting a base model or uploading a photo to generate an avatar that resembles the photo. Customize your avatar's features, from hair color to outfit choices. When you're satisfied, click 'Next' to save your design, which will update the avatar creation form with your new Ready Player Me avatar ID and preview image.
For a more lifelike avatar, use Avaturn to create a realistic 3D model. This platform specializes in generating avatars with detailed facial features, skin textures, and realistic proportions.
Accessing Avaturn: At the moment, you need to sign up with Avaturn first to be able to create Avaturn realistic avatars.
Customization: Start by creating a new avatar. A QR code is provided so that you can take photos with your mobile phone. You can refine details such as skin tone, facial structure, and even specific facial expressions. Avaturn is ideal for creating avatars that need to closely resemble a real person or brand representative. Once complete, click 'Next' to save your design, which will automatically update your avatar’s details in the Sentifyd platform.
After designing your avatar, it's time to train it to interact effectively. You can select one of the following choices to train your avatar:
Assign One Of My Trainings: Reuse training data from previous avatars if applicable.
Assign A Template Training: Utilize pre-existing templates from our library for common scenarios, streamlining the training process.
No Training
Once you’ve finished training your avatar, review all settings to ensure everything is configured correctly. When you’re satisfied, submit your avatar. You will be redirected to the avatar page. We recommend testing it in live interactions to ensure it behaves as expected.
